Narozen v Praze – absolvent FAMU, obor umělecká fotografie. K původnímu zaměření na reklamní a experimentální fotografii dnes ještě přibyla panoramatická fotografie a specializace na ušlechtilé pigmentové tisky (Giclee Print) na velkoformátových tiskárnách Epson. Ideálním nástrojem se pro něj staly nové digitální technologie. Jeho panoramatická fotografická tvorba vyniká zvláště kompozičním řešením, zajímavou prací se světlem a v neposlední řadě ojedinělou prací s geometrií městské architektury a krajiny. Jeho práce byly uveřejněny v různých odborných publikacích, jako např.Computer-Foto, Color Foto, Minolta Spiegel, Foto-Video atd.

Born in Prague – graduated from FAMU (Film Academy of Creative Arts), with a specialization in Art Photography; Mr. Salek devotes himself to photography in the fields of commercial, fashion and experimental photography. Most recently, Mr. Salek has been devoting himself to panoramic photography and high quality pigment printing using large format Epson printers. Digital technology has become an ideal instrument for him. Mr. Salek´s panoramic work excels especially in composition, interesting plays with light, and last but not least in his unique work with the geometry of the city architecture and landscape. His pictures have been published in various professional publications, such as Computer Foto, Color Foto, Minolta Spiegel etc..

Geboren in Prag. Sein Studium absolvierte er an der Prager Filmakademie im Studienfach: „Künstlerische Fotografie“. Er arbeitet freiberuflich als Werbe-und Landschaftsfotograf. In den letzten Jahren konzentriert er sich vor allem auf Panorama-Fotografie und auf hochwertige Pigmentdrucke auf grossformatigen Epson-Printern. Dabei werden ihm die neuen Digitaltechnologien zu einem idealen Werkzeug. Die Eindruckskraft seiner Panoramabilder liegt vor allem in der Komposition, in der ungewöhnlichen Arbeit mit Licht und nicht zuletzt in seiner Fähigkeit mit der Geometrie der Stadtarchitektur und der Landschaft umzugehen. Šálek's Arbeiten wurden in verschiedenen Fachtzeitschriften, wie z.B. Computer-Foto, Color Foto, Minolta Spiegel,Foto-Video usw. veröffentlicht.

プラハに生まれる。プラハ芸術アカデミー映画学部（FAMU）写真学科を卒業。商業的、実験的な写真を手掛け、最近では、Epson社製大判印刷機を使用してのパノラマ写真や高精細複製画（ジークレ・プリント）も専門的に取り扱っている。デジタル技術を理想的な手段としている。彼のパノラマ作品は、構成、魅惑的な光の使用、そして忘れてはならないのが、街中の建築物と風景の幾何学的配列をユニークに捉えるという点において、とりわけ秀でている。彼の作品は、Computer Foto、Color Foto、Minolta Spiegelなどの様々な専門雑誌で紹介されている。
